What was your favorite year with the Raptors?
The 2019 championship season was Toronto Raptors' best season. It was a thrilling, memorable season for Toronto Raptors. The Raptors won their first NBA Championship in franchise history. Kawhi Leonard was named Finals MVP after the team posted a record of 58-24 during the regular season. They defeated the Golden State Warriors 6-1 to claim the title.
The Toronto Raptors reorganized their front office in 2013, replacing Bryan Colangelo with Masaiujiri. This would mark a new era in the franchise's history, which would see them rise to the top of the NBA.
The Raptors experienced a revival under Ujiri. They reached the playoffs for the first-time since 2008, and were back in the top five Divisions. They've won five division titles and had their best season yet in 2018. Ujiri also made an unorthodox but successful trade in that year, sending DeMar DeRozan and Kawhi Leonard to the San Antonio Spurs.
The Raptors had an incredible 2019, winning their first conference championship, and reaching the NBA finals. In total, they beat the Golden State Warriors six times.
Ujiri has been an outstanding success with the Raptors and deserves to be credited for turning around the team's fortunes. The Raptors are one of the top teams in the NBA thanks to his leadership and appear poised to remain contenders for many more years.

Norman Powell and Fred VanVleet made significant contributions for the Raptors. Because of their talent and depth, the team was able to overcome injuries sustained by key players such as Serge Ibaka or Marc Gasol.
The team was coached by Nick Nurse, the Coach of Year, and Pascal Siakam (All-NBA Second Teamer). . Siakam, who averaged almost 20+ points per match, made bold strategic decision that paid off. Kyle Lowry, his sixth consecutive selection to the NBA All-Star team in 2020, was named.
The playoffs kicked off later than usual, this year in August at the Bubble in Bay Lake (Florida), near Orlando. In the first round, the Raptors met the Brooklyn Nets and won 4-0. They lost 0-2 to Boston Celtics, but OG Anunoby made a thrilling comeback to win Toronto the 3rd game. The series was eventually reduced to seven with Boston winning.
What was the Toronto Raptors' first season?
The Toronto Raptors suffered a poor debut season. They won only 21 games. The 1995-1996 Toronto Raptors' inaugural season in the National Basketball Association was the first season for the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors joined the league as one of two expansions teams, along with Vancouver Grizzlies. It was also the first NBA season playing outside of the United States.
Isiah THOMAS, an All Star point guard from the Detroit Pistons, became the General Manager. He helped with the draft, which yielded Damon Stoudamire, who would go on to win Rookie of the Year. They also acquired Tracy Murray and Oliver Miller in separate trades. Thomas introduced a new primary logo featuring a dinosaur playing basketball, and pinstripe uniforms that featured the logo on their jerseys. The Raptors also added red and purple to their color scheme.
Brendan Malone was the Raptors' new head coach. They won against the New Jersey Nets at SkyDome on November 3. However, they lost their next seven matches.
Murray finished second in scoring and averaged 16.2 points per match. He also led the team's total of 151 three-point goals. Miller had 12.9 points per game, 1.4 steals, 1.4 assists and 1.9 block per match, while Robertson was responsible for 9.3 points with 4.4rebounds, four assists, two steals per contest off the bench.
Despite their worst record in the league, they had a very high attendance, with over 17283 people per game at SkyDome (now Rogers Centre).
